Ron Morgan of Premier Stone in Marietta, GA is a ministry supporter, team player and intelligent, bright business man; he credits his parents, his family and church giving him this foundation for love, admiration and success.
As Sales Manager for the Atlanta Division of MCI Telecommunication, Ron Morgan presented a check to Col. Jack Dancey of the Martin Luther King Federal Holiday Commission. The contribution was made in support of the First National Observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birth.

|Ron Morgan is loved by his wife Joyce, their three children and their spouses and eight grand children. Ron and Joyce have been married for 47 years and are proud of their entire family.
Before family life and Premier Stone, Ron Morgan was very active in college at the University of Georgia in Athens. As a member of the Sigma PI fraternity, he helped sponsor and lead may of the activities to help develop younger members of Sigma PI. During his Junior year, he was elected to the position of Social Chairman and was responsible for all the activities including sorority socials, parties and the annual fraternity orchid Ball.
During his senior year at UGA, Ronald Morgan was chosen for the internship for The Marietta Daily Journal; a local Atlanta area newspaper chain, and he helped launch three community newspapers.
After graduating from UGA with an ABJ on Journalism, Ron Morgan joined the U.S. Army Reserves and served for six years in for the Army Air Ambulance Helicopter unit in Marietta. He was honorable discharged in 1975 as and ranked as Specialist Four.
Later in 1975, Ron Morgan and his family moved to Florida due to a sales position offer with a company that had a branch office in Coral Springs FL. Within two years he was the top salesperson in the company and was promoted to V.P. of Sales and moved to the corporate office in Tampa FL. For the next several years, Ron Morgan opened several more branch offices while managing eight other individual offices. In 1979, the company was so impressed with his track record, they transferred and promoted Ron, and moved his family to Atlanta Ga. to expand it's offices into Georgia and the Carolinas.
Ron Morgan of Premier Stone, then went to work at MCI Telecommunications in the early 1980's as a Sales Manager and also Service Manager. The MCI Atlanta Regional Center employed over 300 people. Ron Morgan also opened MCI branch offices in Greenville SC, Greensboro NC and Birmingham AL. MCI employees nominated and honored Ron as "Boss of the Month" and the event was covered by WXIA 11Alive.
Ron Morgan was offered a position with Cable and Wireless Communications, a company based in London, Great Britain and left MCI. The position was at C&W's North America Headquarters in Vienna VA. During Ron Morgan's seven year tenure, he lead as Director for the Southeastern United States and raised the region in prominence within the company. Ron Morgan was also responsible for nine offices in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee.
|Ron Morgan joined Stone Warehouse (Premier Stone) in 2002. Stone Warehouse manufactures stone veneer products using cement aggregate and color tint to simulate the look of natural stone. Also in 2002, Ron Morgan founded a stone installation company to be able to take his product directly to the builders as a turnkey solution. This new company is Stone Specialists LLC.
Ronald Morgan and Premier Stone prefer to hire workers who are down in their luck; disabled or impaired or are needing 1st time employment after being released from the Cobb County Prison System.
Premier Stone reaches out regularly to most ministries, the Tommy Nobis Center's Second Chance in Life program and the Cobb County Worker Release program to hire employees who have demonstrated that they want and can do the work and that they want the chance to contribute back to society. These starter positions are paid substantially higher than the minimum wage and are paid 40% hogher than Federal requirement. And despite physical or mental disabilities, these employees are given the same merit and wage increases as all our other employees. Premier Stone and Ron Morgan do not discriminate. Many of these employees, being delighted with the opportunity have outperformed the expectations and have become happier citizens in our Marietta Ga. community.
At this stage of Ron Morgan's career, he is interested in helping people and giving back.
Additional charitable events involving Ron Morgan and Premier Stone were two episodes of the ABC TV hit show Extreme Makeover and featured homes in Raleigh NC and Jasper GA. Ron Morgan and Premier Stone donated all materials, labor, meals and transportation involving the stone construction for both homes. The rewarding experience and joy helping two families who were destitute and in need far outweighed all of the expense.
Ron Morgan assisting those in need extends to outside the United States where he has traveled and participated in Johnson Ferry Baptist Church missions to South Africa and Botswana.

1. Ron Morgan's early childhood was in Savannah, Georgia in 1959 he played catcher on the little league team; The Tarratus Rockets and that won the city championship.
2. Ron Morgan played on his high school golf team during the 1963-64 seasons of Campbell High School participating in golf as a high school sport.
3. Ronald Morgan was an active member of Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts.
4. At the age of 15 bowled for the Smyrna Traveling Team representing Belmont Bowl. Ron Morgan had a high three game series of bowling more than 550 in addition to a personal best score of 229.
5. Ron Morgan Played on the men's ALTA team that won the Atlanta A4 level tennis championship and also played on the ALTA mixed doubles team that won the A2 city championship
6. Ron Morgan has coached an East Marietta little league baseball team and helped the team win a 1983 league championship
